Anuroop Duggal is a partner at 3G Capital, based out of New York. He joined 3G in 2013, with one of his former colleagues, to launch the Natural Resources Hedge Fund. The fund is a fundamental equity long/short fund that also invests in the credit markets. Assets under management have grown from $100mm at inception to over $700mm. Returns after fees for the fund were 10% in 2013, 26% in 2014, and slightly positive year-to-date in 2015. In 2007, he was hired into Goldman Sachs Principal Strategies (GSPS) group and in 2008, Anuroop joined a team of investors from GSPS that launched Goldman Sachs Investment Partners, the Asset Management Division’s flagship long/short hedge fund. Anuroop graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2007 with degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Business Administration. He was elected Valedictorian by his peers in Business Administration and was the top ranked student, defined by GPA, for both degrees.
