Vivian Tarn

Vivian Tarn is Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, Investments and Banking at the Weinstein Company, an international film/television production and distribution company.  Since joining in 2010, Ms. Tarn has been responsible for over $400MM in corporate financings and $500MM in project based loans, including the recently released The Hateful Eight, Academy Award winner Silver Linings Playbook, Academy Award nominated August Osage County and Django Unchained, and the epic Marco Polo for Netflix.

An independent film finance veteran, Ms. Tarn previously held positions as underwriter and relationship manager at First California Bank and Imperial Capital Bank’s entertainment lending groups, closing production, P&A, gap, and tax credit financings for film and television projects for clients such as Skydance Productions, Lionsgate Entertainment and Tyler Perry.  She holds a BA from the University of California, San Diego.
