B. Ray Conley, CFA is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Finance Technology Leverage LLC.
Prior to FTL, Mr. Conley founded CreekStone Capital Management, a Registered Investment Advisor and hedge fund.
Prior to creating CreekStone Capital, Mr. Conley was a Partner for 7 years at Palo Alto Investors, LLC, a hedge fund with >$1 billion under management, where he was responsible for all technology investments.
Prior to joining Palo Alto Investors, Mr. Conley was a Partner at Oak Hill Capital Management, the private equity firm founded by Texas billionaire, Robert M. Bass. Prior to Oak Hill, Mr. Conley was a business analyst at McKinsey & Company, and an engineer at Hughes Aircraft Company.
Mr. Conley currently serves on the board of directors of Reciprocity Labs. He was previously a member of the board of directors of over a dozen early stage technology ventures including Limelight Networks (NASDAQ: LLNW) and Telephia (NYSE: NLSN).
On behalf of three private equity funds over the past 20 years, Mr. Conley has principally led the investment of over $150 million across 25 private companies which have collectively reached public market valuations in excess of $6 billion.
Mr. Conley earned a B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering with a concentration in Economics from MIT. Mr. Conley is a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
