Bahar Dasgebv, MD, is a Jefferson University Physician at Jefferson Health. She has a dual residency training in dermatology and nuclear medicine-molecular imaging. She served as the liaison of radiology department to the head & neck, GI, and pulmonary solid tumor multidisciplinary boards as the chief resident. Her role was to review all the staging and re-staging diagnostic imaging work ups with the team. This experience, along with the residency training, provided her a confident level of comfort to understand multi-faceted aspect or advanced/complex solid tumors including head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma and Merkle cell carcinoma. After completion of dermatology residency, she had the opportunity to focus on skin solid tumors as a fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering. During this time, she functioned in the diseases management team – DMT- focused on melanoma and Merkel cell carcinoma and became more sophisticated with detailed, multi-lateral complex management of patients suffering this conditions.
