Skip Williamson is a feature film producer based in Venice California, where he runs the 18-month old 5B Films. 5B currently has two films in post-production with the thriller URGE starring Pierce Brosnan and the graphic novel adaptation OFFICER DOWNE starring Sons of Anarchy’s Kim Coates. 5B is also in pre-production on the action film LIVE! starring Aaron Eckhart filming Q2 2016 in Belgrade. Several other films are in various stages of development. Before co-founding 5B Films, Skip was a partner at Lakeshore Entertainment for 13 years, where he brought in and executive produced the UNDERWORLD franchise that has grossed $500M at the worldwide box office as well as the cult classic CRANK and its sequel, CRANK High Voltage, among other films. During Skip’s time at Lakeshore, the company produced over 40 films including Million Dollar Baby, the winner of the Academy Award for Best Picture. Williamson is also the founder and co-owner of Lakeshore Records, the world’s largest independent soundtrack label, with over 300 film soundtracks. Skip was personally nominated for a GRAMMY for producing the soundtrack to the pop-culture phenomena NAPOLEON DYNAMITE. Skip’s former career was as a cooperate strategist on Wall Street where he co-authored proxy prospectus for mergers, acquisitions and takeovers.
